In a joint effort with the team at ARN (Australian Radio Network), we have released the Q3 2025 edition of our Australian Quarterly Benchmark Report. To prepare the report, we analyzed 10,117 episodes of popular Australian podcasts to uncover the behaviors, trends, and insights from Q3.

Some of our key findings this quarter include:

  • +18% Y/Y spend
    Australian podcast ad spending continued to climb in Q3, increasing 18% year-over-year
  • 7 of 10 repeat top-10 spenders
    Seven of the top 10 spenders in Q3 were also top spenders in Q2
  • 82% Brand awareness
    Brand Awareness campaigns made up 82% of all detected ads in Australia during Q3
  • 7.51% average ad load
    Average advertiser ad load remained steady from 7.53% in Q2 to 7.51% in Q3
  • +62% ad spend in Food
    Spend in the food industry increased 62%, with brands like McDonald's, Cobram Estate, and Coles topping the list
  • $2.3M spend for Financial Services
    Spend in Financial Services topped all industries this quarter with brands like Wise, Westpac, and CMC Market at the top.
